An international touring artist who is solid with her sound and comfortable with her craft, Harris describes herself as a seasonal writer...a process of 'inputs' and 'outputs'.

"In the fall and winter, I’m in ‘input’, inhaling the details of the world. My eyes and ears are open and I become a holding tank. By early spring I’m very heavy with thoughts, so I go into 'output' and start writing songs...some are for my private library, the others I share...”

Since the release of her second record 'Roots', which garnered a West Coast Music Award nomination for Outstanding Roots Album, Harris continues to tell stories through her music, revealing the lives of those who inspired her along the way.

Preparing with Maximum/EMI Music Canada for the release of her 3rd album, 'Is Your life as it Should be', this record marks yet another chapter in the journey of Angela Harris. Each song was recorded live off the floor with Craig Alan Mack (bass/bg's), Eric Reed (multi-instrumentalist), Mani Nassefat (percussion/drums) and Angela Harris (acoustic guitar/vocals). Together they have created and captured a musical artform of their own.

Ready to put it all out there, Angela and her players are excited to bring new songs, laughs, and a few good stories to folks far and wide.
